Elba Wire Rope grease is highly effective wire rope, chain, cable and drag line grease that features excellent resistance to water, a very tenacious texture and resistance to fresh water, humidity, heat and salt water. The tenacious film formed on the outside of the wire ropes is nondrying and is long lasting.
Elba Wire Rope Grease extends the life and performance of wire rope by providing a nondrying lm on the outside of wire ropes. This tenacious flim protects wire ropes from corrosion; it does so by lubricating all parts of the cable (inside strands and outside). Wire Rope Grease will not chip, harden, or flake in low temperature weather. This grease is also solvent free, thus any sort of run off that occurs during service is significantly reduced improving safety & environmental concerns.
